Phoon Huat Pte Ltd is a Singapore manufacturer and supplier of baking ingredients, baking tools and food products, and the company behind the RedMan brand. The business dates from 1947, when Hainanese entrepreneur Wong Tai Fuang opened a 35 sqm shop on Middle Road; it is now run by his descendants and professional managers, and has traded under the current company, incorporated in 2016, since that year. Its headquarters at 231A Pandan Loop covers about 25,000 sqm of offices, warehousing and ISO 22000-certified manufacturing and cold-chain facilities with six temperature zones, and the company says the Pandan Loop facility has been fully halal-certified since 2019. A fleet of more than 25 frozen, chilled and ambient trucks delivers to food-service customers and to its own shops. Phoon Huat says it serves more than 5,000 F&B and HORECA outlets and manufacturers in Singapore, from food-service operators to artisan and industrial bakeries, and exports to 26 countries. House brands are RedMan, Bakeway, Gold Tree, Phoon Huat Deli, So Hale and RedMan Gourmand; it also carries international brands such as Bob's Red Mill, DaVinci, Antimo Caputo, Wilton, Nielsen-Massey, Sanneng and Conaprole. The range covers baking ingredients, baking tools and equipment, meat and seafood, groceries and beverages. Services include private-label manufacturing, custom blending and portioning, consolidation and third-party logistics for imports and exports, and corporate baking classes. It runs about 20 RedMan by Phoon Huat retail stores island-wide, the RedManShop.com online store and an ordering site for business customers (business.phoonhuat.com).
